Duties: Perform support duties for a variety of test, measurement & diagnostic equipment for cyclic calibration &
repair. Coordinate & control equipment flow; monitor machine/status listings, review data & prepare reports; &
perform administrative functions. Schedule equipment by priority & assign priorities. Provide guidance to employees
regarding calibration support. Enter data & use data to maintain the Calibration Management Information System.
Unpack/repack test, measurement & diagnostic equipment & prepare required paperwork. Prepare graphs & charts

library & administrative files. Maintain current records of expenditures & balances for budgeted funds, and provide

About the Position: This position is located in the Red River TSL Division.
The work is sedentary and is usually accomplished while the employee is comfortably seated at a desk or table.
Some walking and standing may occur in the course of a normal workday in connection with attendance at meetings
and conferences, or while researching files. Items carried typically are objects such as data processing reports and
moderately heavy objects up to 35 pounds. The work is primarily performed in an office-like setting involving
everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions. The employee uses safe work practices with
office equipment, avoids trips or falls, and observes fire regulations. The work area is adequately lighted, heated,
and ventilated.

Qualifications:
To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience to at least the next lower grade (GS-06).

status, regarding calibration; and 2) Collect, compile and retrieve information for resurring reports regarding
calibration.
GS-06 and above: One year of experience directly related to the occupation and equivalent to the next lower grade
level. Education is not creditable, however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the
graduate education is directly related to the work of the position.
