Major Duties: Collect, query and compile data from sampling systems. Screen data for pertinence and usability. Convert data to meet the requirements of a product. Assist in data analysis by sorting information by program/point in the process and prepares statistical charts and graphics. Assist in maintaining the automated statistical sampling system. Assist personnel in obtaining various technical publications using VSMF, microfiche, reference publications, and automated sources. Runs inquiries to obtain program notice information on depot programs. Performs a variety of clerical duties. Composes replies to inquiries. Prepares periodic reports. Maintains employee leave records and reports time and attendance. Receive correspondence and screens material. Maintain suspense files. Receive phone call directs personnel or provides information required on routine matters. Utilize office automation systems, i.e., electronic mail, database, spreadsheet, word processing, graphics to accomplish job.
Qualifications:
General Schedule To be creditable, experience must be equivalent to the GS-04 grade level. Qualified candidates must show in their resume that they have one year of specialized experience which provided the following: Knowledge of compiling data using a variety of automation tools to produce statistical charts, graphs, and other presentable items used to represent statistical findings obtained through data collection and statistical sampling systems. The experience described in your resume will be evaluated and screened for the Office of Personnel Management's basic qualifications requirements, and the skills needed to perform the duties of this position as described in this vacancy announcement. Typing - Any Grade: Qualified typist is required (40wpm). Other Requirements: Personnel security investigation required. A medical examination is required.
